Integrative Functional Medicine | Longevity & Performance Optimization | Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease Specialist. Dr. Kevin Ng is not your typical physician. He blends the precision of medicine with the wisdom of wellness to guide patients beyond the limits of conventional care and trendy wellness fads. His mission is not just to treat illness—but to empower each person with clarity, vitality, and agency to live “Undoctored.” A Philadelphia native, Dr. Ng earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from St. Joseph’s University, where he conducted oncogene research—an endeavor inspired by his parents’ battles with cancer. He went on to earn his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine, expanding his perspective through international medical experiences in Kenya, Micronesia, Guam, and Honduras, with a focus on tropical and global health. He completed both his Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Diseases fellowship at Cooper University Hospital, where his research centered on fungal sepsis. Dr. Ng later served as Medical Director of the Hyperbaric Medicine Program at Virtua while practicing as an infectious disease specialist—gaining valuable experience in advanced healing modalities before being called to a more integrative, patient-centered path. In 2017, Dr. Ng began advanced Integrative Medicine training at the Chung Institute, where he learned to synergize allopathic insight with holistic healing traditions and innovative technologies. He completed medical acupuncture training through the Helms Medical Institute and prolotherapy training through the Hackett Hemwall Patterson Foundation at the University of Wisconsin. More recently, he completed the Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice course through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), further deepening his systems-based, root-cause approach to care. At the Chung Institute, Dr. Ng specializes in the integrative treatment of chronic conditions such as Lyme disease, mold toxicity, parasites, immune dysregulation, Long COVID, chronic fatigue syndrome, and food- or environmentally-triggered illness. Many of his patients come seeking answers for persistent symptoms that haven’t responded to conventional care, including fatigue, brain fog, gut imbalances, and autoimmune disorders. He also supports individuals looking to optimize performance, improve energy, enhance metabolic health, and promote longevity through a proactive, functional medicine lens. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, Dr. Ng prioritizes shared decision-making, education, and agency, partnering with each patient to design a personalized roadmap to lasting wellness. His individualized care plans draw from a diverse therapeutic toolkit, including acupuncture, regenerative injections, peptides, low dose immunotherapy (LDI), herbal and homeopathic medicine, chelation, and photobiomodulation therapy. These interventions are paired with foundational lifestyle-based strategies—such as nutritional planning, nervous system regulation, environmental detox, and emotional resilience training—to help patients move beyond conventional symptom control and achieve deep, sustainable healing. In addition to his work at the Chung Institute, Dr. Ng remains active in hospital medicine as an Infectious Disease Attending at Cooper University Hospital. He also holds an academic appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, where he mentors students and physicians. He serves as a collaborating physician for functional medicine providers across New Jersey and continues to expand the reach of integrative medicine through clinical research, education, and mentorship. Fun Fact: Dr. Ng is often asked how he stays so youthful. He credits his vitality to a life grounded in faith, family, purpose—and the “Undoctored” principles he lives daily.
